Coed Glas receives strong praise in ESTYN REPORT




A recent ESTYN report following an inspection in the latter end of 2008 at Coed Glas Primary School has heaped praise on the school for its "many outstanding features" and was also described as "totally inclusive offering outstanding support and guidance to all in its care"...

"At Coed Glas Primary School we recognise the importance of preparing our children with the ICT knowledge, skills and confidence to take their place in a rapidly developing technological world".

Please help support us by collecting the "vouchers for schools". We are saving up vouchers from Tesco, Sainsburys, Morrisons and Flora!

Do you eat healthy and live an active life?..
We actively promote a healthy lifestyle at Coed Glas,
at break times from Monday to Thursday we like to see all pupils with some fruit or a healthy snack to nibble on. Then on Fridays, we have a yummy little treat!

In the academic year 2010/11, our aim was to develop the pupils' creativity skills in all areas of the curriculum - we did all sorts, like learning new hymns, we used new ICT software in lessons, read our new library books, too part in workshops (in dance, design technology and drama) and we even worked with visiting artists and musicians.

Just imagine what exciting things 2011/12 holds for us!...
